1. When will my order arrive?
We process and ship all in-stock items within 2 business days, many times quicker. We ship your goods through USPS Priority Mail, which is guaranteed within the United States to be delivered in 2 to 3 days, so typically all orders arrive within 5 business days! Although rare, certain goods can fall on backorder from time to time. Backordered goods can take up to 14 business days to ship, while a few specialty items can take a bit longer. During these instances, you will receive a backorder notice from our operations department alerting you to the delay and you can decide from there how you would like to proceed. Please rest assured that though we may appear to be lazy, overslept, underworked t-shirt guys from Jersey, we actually take a great deal of pride in our customer service and do everything within our powers to ship your order as quickly as possible.
2. Can I make a change to my order after it has been placed?
As long as you contact us before your order has shipped, we can make changes to or cancel your order. Orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have shipped.
3. Can I exhange or return a shirt?

4. Do your shirts run small or large?
Our shirts have a more tailored and slim fitting style to them. They run slightly small and when you’re in between sizes we typically suggest to go for the larger size. They also will shrink up in length about 1” and come in on the chest about .5” on each side when put in the dryer. All in all though, they are relatively true to size.
If you are unsure, please refer to our size chart here, which lists the exact specifications of our shirts. Our suggestion is to measure one of your t-shirts that fits you great and go with the nearest option. Remember to take into account shrinkage. We offer returns or exchanges on any orders that don’t fit the way you had hoped.
5. How do your girl’s shirts fit ?
Our girl’s t-shirts are designed for a youthful fit. They are tailored for a women’s contours and the sleeves are slightly shorter than the men’s t-shirts. If you like a more form fitting look, we suggest the girl’s t-shirt, if you lean more towards a casual, looser fit, we suggest the men’s t-shirt.
Also, so you are aware, we do not carry women’s size XL. In these instances, we recommend a men’s small, which is very comparable in size.
6. What type of fabric do you use to make your t-shirts ?
We print our completely original collection of designs on some of the softest, most vintage, and fashionable t-shirts available. Our t-shirts are custom cut & sewn exclusively for Solid Threads; they are MADE in the USA, and assembled using a fabric that is sure to bring a smile to the face of any t-shirt aficionado. Let’s get technical now. The fabric is 60% cotton/40% polyester fine jersey blend with a 40 singles singles thread count (your typical t-shirt is 20 singles).We also use a "dye to cotton fiber" technique to obtain the heather vintage look that makes it seem like you’ve had it for years. Please beware that if you’re expecting a thick, heavyweight cotton t-shirt and that’s your barometer for t-shirt quality, we would have to recommend another brand. Our lightweight, ridiculously soft threads are truly vintage and have sometimes been described as life changing.
7. What shipping methods do you offer and do you ship goods internationally?
We currently ship all of our domestic orders via USPS Priority mail which is guaranteed for delivery in 2 to 3 business days. The domestic shipping charges are typically about $4.95, but can increase marginally based on the weight of the shipment and the destination. The rates are pulled directly from the post office and we DO NOT ADD any additional shipping or handling charges.
We also offer FREE SHIPPING on all DOMESTIC orders OVER $50. Simply enter the code "yesyesyes" upon checkout.
We do ship internationally via USPS Priority International mail and packages generally arrive within 6 to 10 business days. International rates will typically range from $11.95 to $15.95 depending on the weight of the shipment and the destination. Again, we pull our rate directly from the post office and DO NOT ADD any additional shipping or handling charges.
8. How do I know my online payment is safe?
Solid Threads takes your security concerns seriously, which is why we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to safely encrypt all of your private information when placing an order. 9. What payment methods does Solid Threads accept?
Solidthreads.com accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and Solid Threads e-gift cards.
10. How will I know that my online order has been placed successfully?
Once your order has been processed you will be redirected to an order confirmation screen, which contains all of your order information and your order number. If you did not choose guest checkout, you will also receive an e-mail confirmation of your order.
11. Why am I receiving an error message when I try to finalize and place my order?
9 times out of 10, the only reason you would ever receive an error message when trying to finalize your order is becuase the billing zip code you have entered does not match the one on your bank statement. This is almost always the reason your credit card would not have gone through, unless you spent a little too much time at the horse track last weekend. If you do receive an error message, we would recommend contacting your bank (the # is on the back of the card), to confirm the billing zip code on your account. If the card still will not go through, definitely give us a call and we will either process your order over the phone or talk you through any other potential issues that could be causing the holdup.
12. Do you guys accept t-shirt idea submissions?
Why yes we do, we now offer $150 in store credit and the first shirt off the press for any of you clever folks out there who gots the ideas, but just don’t have the time to get them out there on some supple threads. That’s where we come in. Submit your ideas here.
