Solid Threads was created by a t-shirt connoisseur who slowly honed his craft of creating random, funny, vintage shirts by drinking heavily at least three to four days a week, sleeping no less than 12 hours a day, and getting to as many "two for Tuesday" sales at the local Salvation Army as he could.
He held several random jobs while getting this company off the ground, from working a Good Humor Truck to delivering chicken wings. But the motivation he needed came about when his carefree lifestyle was snatched away like a tiger chasing a wounded gazelle; he had entered the cubicle jungles of the corporate world. Gradually, each day became slightly worse than the day before until eventually everyday became the worst day of his life.
There were many times when a swan dive onto the subway tracks seemed like a viable option, but this story has a happy ending. He made it through the struggle and realized his dream of one day returning to the lifestyle of a true t-shirt connoisseur, where ideas flow freely and his collection steadily improves.
